Enhancing Customer Service
Last year saw the company relocate its Midland branch to a state of the art industrial facility in Burton on Trent. Comprising of a modern warehouse to facilitate an increase in stockholding capacity and an enhanced office space to accommodate the growing Sales and Management teams, the 12,500 sq. ft. premises also provided a convenient trade counter now well used by customers.
With its close proximity and easy access to the M6 and M1 and its large stockholding capacity, it has allowed the branch to enhance efficiency and further develop its industry renowned delivery service facilitated by TF Solutions strategically located nationwide network of fully stocked outlets.
Rated as “excellent” by participants in the company’s own customer survey, the efficiency of TF Solutions delivery service – which guarantees a free, next-day delivery service – is also supported by an in-house tracked delivery vehicle fleet.
The first class delivery service is only part of the market leading customer service offer available for customers. Much more than simply a distributor, the company works in partnership with customers to design innovative, efficient and value for money ACR solutions to meet customer needs precisely, working from either technical briefs or site visits, and providing technical support during commissioning.
TF Solutions website is continually updated, and provides easy customer access to products and information, with email shots and social media also used to keep customers up to date.
Customers also continue to use and benefit from the TF Solutions/Fujitsu training room, where the company offer free courses for both customers and non-customers, helping to develop engineer’s expertise in the design and installation of air conditioning and refrigeration products and their ideal applications.
Expanding Product Offer
TF Solutions continues to build its air conditioning provision, with a range that includes air conditioning units, heating and cooling systems, coolers, condensers and condensate pumps as well as the copper, insulation, fixtures, fittings, refrigerant gases, tools and maintenance items to support them.
Continually developing in response to the company’s ongoing customer-listening ethos, the air conditioning product portfolio includes equipment from big names such as Fujitsu and Panasonic as well as some of the more popular smaller brands, and features an exclusive range of tooling brands such as Black Diamond, Guntner and a number of their own-range items.
2017 saw the introduction of a comprehensive range of refrigeration capital equipment, components and accessories, enabling it to expand its offerings to customers beyond air conditioning. This area continues to grow with market leading brands such as Marstair, Guntner, J and E Hall, Sporlan, Danfoss, Carel and Henry.
Responding to increasing customer requests for energy efficient products, the companies range also includes energy efficient equipment including products by Carel and Fujitsu.
TF Solutions on-going innovations are designed to build on an already excellent reputation among its growing customer base.
Customers continue to benefit from and appreciate the company’s flexibility, with both its Sales team and Directors contactable not only during normal weekday hours of 8am – 5pm (4.30pm Friday) but also out-of-hours, guaranteeing support around the clock, every day of the week.
Customers also benefit working with a consistent team, as the company boasts an excellent rate of industry experienced staff retention across the board, with many personnel having worked with TF Solutions for 5-10 years and way beyond that in many cases. The company continues investing in the training of their staff, who regularly attend supplier courses in order to keep abreast of new product developments and are therefore able to give customers up to date and informed advice and product information.
Corporate Social Responsibility remains a priority for the company. Its nominated charity is The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice in Staffordshire, which it has continued to support in partnership with both customers and suppliers.
