Building Energy Management Project of the Year

Entrants will face an industry vote, with the winners being whomever receives the most votes overall.

Website of the Year

This award is open to any company operating in the UK air conditioning and refrigeration sectors for any website launched, or relaunched after November 1, 2017.  Your entry should include the URL and as much relevant information about the website as possible but, specifically what sets it apart from other competitive websites. In addition, the entry should include the following where relevant:

  • The nature and purpose of the website
  • Who it is aimed at and what forms it is accessible in (PC, tablet, smartphone, app etc)
  • The range of products and/or services it promotes
  • Any interactive elements (such as social media, shopping cart/checkout, forums etc.)
  • Describe how effective the website has been so far. Show any quantifiable results.
  • Finally, describe in not more than 500 words why this website should be considered for the Website of the Year Award
Wholesaler/Distributor of the Year

This award is open to all air conditioning and/or refrigeration wholesalers or distributors operating in the UK. For the purposes of this award, a wholesaler is defined as a company offering a wide range of products in the form of a ‘one-stop shop’ for the air conditioning and refrigeration engineer. A distributor will be an independent company looking after the sales and distribution of one or more companies or products.

Your entry should include as much relevant information about your company as possible but, specifically what sets you apart from other product distributors. In addition, the entry should include the following where relevant:

  • Details of branches and locations
  • Range of products supplied
  • Approximate value of stockholding
  • Normal hours of business and out-of-hours service
  • Type and speed of deliveries offered
  • Technical support
  • Design service
  • Training (for staff and customers)

App of the Year

This award is open to any company operating in the UK air conditioning and refrigeration sectors for any app launched, or relaunched after November 1, 2017.  Your entry should include the name and as much relevant information about the app as possible but, specifically what sets it apart from other competitive apps. In addition, the entry should include the following where relevant:

  • The nature and purpose of the app
  • Who it is aimed at and on which platforms it is available
  • What is its purpose, what does it do?
  • How does it benefit the user?
  • Describe how effective the app has been so far for your business and for the customer. Show any quantifiable results.
  • Finally, describe in not more than 500 words why this app should be considered for the App of the Year Award
Service Engineer of the Year

This category is for current UK air conditioning and/or refrigeration service engineers.

To support your entry it is important to supply as much relevant information as possible, answering the following questions (where relevant):

  • Type of work undertaken
  • Describe the scope of the individual’s service capability
  • Describe an instance the last 12 months of which the engineer should be proud
  • Showing outstanding contribution to the workplace – in particular, areas or projects where expectations have been exceeded
  • Showing outstanding contribution to customers – in particular, areas or projects where expectations have been exceeded
  • Fitting in with the team – people skills and relationship building
  • Testimonials from employer and customers
  • Finally, describe in no more than 500 words why you should be considered for this Award?
