With the ACR News Awards ceremony now just three months away, time is running out to cast your vote and have your say on which brands, products and people you think should come away with an ACR News winners’ trophy.
The ACR News Awards values highly the opinions of those within the sector it serves, which is why we have introduced an all-new category which gives you another opportunity to make your vote count.
For 2019, alongside the returning ‘Wholesaler/Distributor of the Year’ accolade, the newly created ‘Website of the Year’ category will also be decided by an online industry vote.
Making your voice heard is simple; just head to the ACR News Awards website and complete your voting form here. Voting will close on 31 January 2019.
Meanwhile, an independent panel of industry experts will be deliberating over the entries for the remaining awards. Here too, an additional five categories have been created to reflect the trends and technical developments taking place across the acr industry: ‘Chiller of the Year’, ‘Heat Pump of the Year’, ‘Retail Product of the Year’, ‘Retail Project of the Year’ and ‘Building Energy Management Project of the Year’.
These join the established ‘judged’ line-up which comprises ‘Air Conditioning Product of the Year’, ‘Air Conditioning Ancillary Product of the Year’, ‘Refrigeration Product of the Year’, ‘Refrigeration Ancillary Product of the Year’, ‘Trainee of the Year’, ‘Service Engineer of the Year’ and the Bitzer-sponsored ‘Alan Moor Award’.
Bigger and better than ever
Taking place on Thursday 21 March, the ACR News Awards is on the move this year and will be hosted at London’s Tower Hotel, overlooking the iconic landmarks of Tower Bridge and The Shard.
It’s a fitting venue for the longest-running and most prestigious awards event on the cooling calendar, and with a total of six brand-new categories, 2019’s celebrations are shaping up to be bigger and better than ever – which means even more opportunities for you to build new relationships and boost the profile of your business amid the best and brightest in industry.
On the night, attendees will be welcomed with an exclusive drinks reception offering ample time to connect with key contacts before sitting down to a delicious three-course meal with wine and, of course, the eagerly anticipated awards ceremony itself.
Top-notch entertainment goes without saying, and hosting the ACR News Awards for 2019 is renowned comedian, actor and radio host Marcus Brigstocke. A master of satire, he boasts numerous appearances on Have I Got News for You and Live at the Apollo, and is also well-known for his roles in Love Actually, Argumental, and his work on BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show with fellow comics Hugh Dennis and Steve Punt.
Promising a spectacular evening of networking, quality entertainment and well-deserved celebration with friends, colleagues, current and potential clients alike, the ACR News Awards 2019 is not to be missed.
There is a range of ticket options to choose from, including a premium offering for 2019 to help you and your peers really celebrate in style. Together with all that’s included with a standard ticket, premium bookings will receive additional wine at their table plus two bottles of champagne or a bucket of 20 beers, as well as a cheeseboard and a bottle of port to continue the after-dinner celebrations.
Premium ticket holders will also reap some exclusive business-boosting benefits, gaining maximum exposure with branded chair caps and making the most of the networking opportunities available by being made privy to a full list of all companies in attendance at the ACR News Awards, 72 hours prior to the event.
