The ACR News Awards 2017 is expanding to introduce three new categories to the line-up, including: Apprentice of the Year (sponsored by Hawco), Unsung Hero of the Year and Service Engineer of the Year.

With the skills shortage being a topical issue, the Apprentice of the Year category acknowledges the ACR industry’s dedication to developing its emerging talent. We are looking for the individual who has met their learning objectives while also making a demonstrable contribution to their employer’s business.

This category will be judged by panel of industry experts, who are looking for apprentices that can demonstrate commitment to personal development and progression, show their outstanding contribution to the workplace and have inspirational levels of achievement and attainment.

Commenting on the new addition to the awards categories, ACR News magazine editor, Lynn Sencicle said:

“The 2017 ACR News Awards are focussing on individuals as well as companies. ACR is very much a people sector, so the ACR News Awards 2017 is all about celebrating achievement at all levels. The awards offer the chance stand out amongst the competition, raise business profiles and stimulate market interest. Each award is a reflection of dedication and commitment, with only the best receiving an accolade and our readers’ stamp of approval.”
