The 2017 ACR News Awards were an astounding success – and now they are back for 2018! Set to take place in the heart of London on Wednesday 24 January 2018, the awards will celebrate and reward the hard work and successes of both companies and individuals within the air conditioning and refrigeration industry.
With the introduction of four new categories, this year’s Awards offers even more opportunities for outstanding individuals and excellent contributions to be recognised.
Two of the new categories will be judged by an independent panel of industry experts; Instrumentation of the Year and Thermal Controller of the year, which are open to any manufacturer of an air conditioning or refrigeration instrument/controller (respectively) launched onto the UK market after 1st November 2016.
Also set to be judged by the panel of experts are the returning categories; Air Conditioning Product of the Year, Ancillary Air Conditioning Product of the Year sponsored by Hitachi, Ancillary Refrigeration Product of the Year, Apprentice of the Year sponsored by Hawco, Environmental Project of the Year, Refrigeration Product of the Year and the Alan Moor Award, sponsored by Bitzer, which each year recognises the contributions of one individual whose efforts within the industry have largely gone unrecognised.
The two new voted for categories, Commercial Contractor of the Year and Industrial Contractor of the Year, will be decided by the industry along with returning categories Customer Service Award, Online Initiative of the Year, Service Engineer of the Year, Unsung Hero of the Year and Wholesaler/Distributor of the Year.
